Kasbah Museum

The Kasbah Museum, also known as Dar el Makhzen, is a cultural hub located in Tangier’s historic Kasbah district. Originally built as a sultan’s palace and administrative center during the Alaouite dynasty, the name translates to "Palace of the Governor." The museum showcases traditional Moroccan architecture, including intricate zellij tilework, carved wood, and stucco plaster, alongside historical artifacts and tribal collections that reflect Islamic, Berber, and Western cultural influences.
